Software Support Engineer (Remote – Canada) We are seeking a highly motivated Software Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. Location: Remote within Canada Contract Duration: 6 months. Highly likely to be extended What You’ll Do Provide advanced technical support and resolve escalated issues from L1 and L2 support teams Perform in-depth root cause analysis for complex technical challenges Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product, and Support to deliver effective solutions Develop and maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, and knowledge base articles Improve support processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery Write, maintain, and debug Python and Java code Optimize database queries and procedures for Neo4j and PostgreSQL Support debugging, deployment, and environment setup using Docker, AWS, and Kubernetes Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in software development or technical support roles Strong backend development expertise in Python and Java Hands-on experience with Spring frameworks including: Spring MVC Spring Boot Spring Data Strong knowledge of databases, particularly: Neo4j (Graph DB) PostgreSQL Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and RESTful APIs Solid understanding of: Algorithms Data structures Database design Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a global team setting Nice to Have Experience with: ElasticSearch Kafka integration BPMN workflows Drools Frontend development skills using: TypeScript JavaScript HTML/CSS Angular 2+ Domain experience in: Telecom OSS Inventory Management Familiarity with testing frameworks such as: Protractor Jasmine JUnit Certifications are a plus: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate CKA: Certified Kubernetes Administrator CKAD: Certified Kubernetes Application Developer Why Join Us?
