Pre-Board Security Screening Specialist, North/Western Labrador (Churchill Falls)

Become a Pre-Board Screening Officer and play a fundamental role in airport security. Your efforts will directly contribute to the safety of the traveling public.

In this position, you will be responsible for screening passengers and their belongings to ensure only authorized items enter secure areas of the airport. You will also monitor access points, respond to alarms, and report illegal activities as part of a proactive approach to security. Participation in emergency protocols will be critical to this role's success.

Key Responsibilities:• Conduct screenings of passengers and carry-on items • Manage access to restricted airport areas • Respond to and manage alarm situations • Document and report illegal acts or disruptions • Collaborate in airport emergency operations

Requirements:• Canadian citizenship or permanent residency is required • High school diploma or equivalent needed • Clear criminal record, eligible for RAIC security clearance • At least 18 years old • Must reside near Wabush or agree to relocate
