Warehouse Associate (Wabush)

Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and equipment operation. The ideal candidate will have warehouse experience and possess the skills necessary to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Duties - Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse - Assist with order picking, packing, and packaging to ensure accurate order fulfillment - Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments and maintaining inventory records. - Load and unload goods safely using appropriate equipment and techniques - Support warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock and maintaining a clean, safe work environment - Utilize mechanical knowledge for maintenance or troubleshooting of warehouse equipment - Support construction or manufacturing-related tasks as needed - Ensure compliance with safety protocols during equipment operation and material handling Skills - Proven experience operating equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks - Solid knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment - Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance - Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently - Skilled in order picking, packaging, load & unload procedures, and equipment operation - Good understanding of safety standards related to equipment use and material handling - Ability to work in a quick-paced environment with attention to detail and accuracy This Warehouse Associate position is integral to maintaining efficient warehouse operations while ensuring safety and accuracy in all tasks.
