Senior .NET Developer / Systems Analyst II Requisition Details Work Model: Onsite Location: 40 Higgins Line, St. John's, NL A1B 3R4, Canada Job Summary The OCIO Design & Delivery Branch is seeking a Senior .NET Developer / Systems Analyst II to support enterprise application initiatives across integration, data, and presentation layers. The successful candidate will contribute to technical design, scalable API development, data migration activities, and front-end application enhancements while supporting end-to-end enterprise solutions aligned with business and technical objectives. This role requires solid analytical capabilities, hands‑on .NET development expertise, and experience working within enterprise environments. Key Responsibilities Design and develop enterprise applications using .NET technologies Translate business requirements into technical designs and specifications Build scalable RESTful API services and backend integrations Support data migration, conversion, and restructuring activities Develop and maintain front-end application components Analyze system feasibility, performance, scalability, and security Define system interfaces, data structures, workflows, and operational environments Create and maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures Collaborate with project teams to support implementation and delivery Participate in system testing, validation, and production support Assist with project planning and work breakdown structures Required Experience 7+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst or .NET Developer Strong experience with: C# .NET Framework / .NET Core ASP.NET MVC / Web API RESTful API development SQL Server Data migration and transformation Enterprise application integration Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements Strong documentation and system design skills Experience working across: Integration layers Data layers Presentation/UI layers Knowledge of scalability, security, and production support best practices Preferred Qualifications Experience in government or public-sector environments Front-end development experience (JavaScript frameworks preferred) Agile/Scrum delivery experience Experience with system modernization projects Knowledge of cloud-based architectures and services Technical Environment C# .NET / ASP.NET REST APIs SQL Server Enterprise Integration Data Conversion & Migration Front-End Development System Design & Documentation Education & Experience Systems Analyst Level 2 Minimum 7+ years relevant experience Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2pebql
