Responsibilities

Conduct guided tours of museums, gallery exhibitions, historical and heritage sites, answering inquiries and providing information

Protect and care for cultural artifacts and collections during exhibitions, while in transit and in storage

Qualifications

Experience an asset

Computer and technology knowledge: MS Office

Technical experience: Interpretation/guiding

Languages: Bilingual

Student status: Full‑time enrollment; no degree, certificate or diploma

Work setting: Rural area, various locations (heritage/historical sites, museum, regional or city art gallery)

Transportation/travel: Public transportation available

Work conditions: Combination of sitting, standing, walking; attention to detail

Personal suitability: Client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, initiative, judgment, team player
