You’ll be the face of our company, navigating a 5-ton truck through city streets and leading the heavy lifting to ensure our customers' belongings get from A to B safely. Duties - Precision Driving: Safely operate a 5-ton moving truck for local and regional assignments, ensuring punctual arrivals and safe navigation. - The Heavy Lift: Lead the loading and unloading process, utilizing proper lifting techniques to move heavy furniture, appliances, and bulky items. - Cargo Protection: Master the art of padding, wrapping, and securing inventory within the truck to prevent shifts or damage during transit. - Customer Interaction: Act as the onsite point of contact, providing friendly, professional
service to ease the stress of moving day for our clients. - Equipment Mastery: Operate ramps, dollies, pallet jacks, and forklifts (where applicable) to move high-volume loads efficiently. - Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-trip vehicle inspections and keep your truck organized and move-ready. - Team Synergy: Coordinate closely with your moving swam to tackle large-scale residential and commercial projects. Requirements - License & Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean abstract; experience handling 5-ton trucks or larger commercial vehicles is a must. - Physical Stamina: Ability to perform continuous heavy lifting (75+ lbs) and stay on your feet in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment. - Technical Skill: Proven experience in professional moving, logistics, or warehouse operations. - Communication: Clear, professional verbal skills to update the dispatch team and guide customers through the moving process. - Safety First: A "safety-conscious" mindset, ensuring both the crew and the cargo remain injury-free and intact. - Reliability: A track record of punctuality and the ability to work independently without constant supervision.
