We cover roles in accounting, finance, and payroll. I am seeking a Financial Controller for my client, a company in the construction sector. This is a permanent position in Sherbrooke. Mission - Manage the full accounting cycle and prepare financial statements - Participate in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting - Analyze financial performance and variances - Lead the accounting team and ensure deadlines are met - Optimize processes and strengthen internal controls - Ensure tax compliance and file required returns - Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, and billing - Collaborate with operations to ensure effective expense tracking Your profile - Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field - Experience in accounting/financial control (construction industry experience is a plus) - CPA designation (a plus) - Robust understanding of the accounting cycle and financial statements - Solid knowledge of accounting and regulatory requirements - Proficiency in Excel and accounting software PROCESS: Initial interview with Caroline Vansteene, recruitment consultant, followed by an interview with the Director of Human Resources.
