Hiring Unit: Department of East Asian Studies Course Title and Course Number: EAST 216 001 Introduction to Global Asia Estimated Number of Positions: 2 positions Total Hours of Work per Term: 150 hours per TA position - Hours are dependent on course enrollment Position Summary: Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, hosting and facilitating discussions in-person and/or on Zoom with small groups of students; grading of assignments; attending lectures and reading course materials; communication with students regarding MyCourses, submission of assignments, other tasks associated with the position/course, etc. Qualifications: Registered graduate student (M.A. or Ph.D.) at McGill University. Must hold a B.A./B.A. Honors in Chinese Studies or Equivalent.
