Responsibilities This is an interview position. The role involves operating company vehicles and delivering and picking up packages while performing in a floating capacity for a minimum of 15 routes. The courier works without an assigned regular route, providing coverage for open routes when the normally assigned courier is absent. The candidate serves as a mentor and role model for hourly employees, demonstrating strong communication, conflict resolution, and leadership skills through Best Practices methods, and promotes continued sales to generate incremental revenue wherever possible.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Educational Requirements: High school diploma/equivalent.

Relevant Experience: Minimum 1 year of previous courier experience; 6 months to learn or adjust to the job.

Technical Skills: Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Must complete all basic and recurrency training, maintain DG certification and annual recurrency training prior to expiration.

Ability to gain and maintain FedEx DG Specialist certification.

Good understanding of FedEx products, features of service and general operations.

Ability to lift 70 lbs and maneuver packages up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.

Some knowledge of Federal Express operations and Canadian Customs regulations is an asset.

In Quebec, must be bilingual (French and English).

Interpersonal Skills: excellent human relations, customer relations and communication skills; good analytical, problem‑solving, prioritization and organization skills.

Preferred Qualifications

6 months courier experience; must speak French and English.

Pay Transparency

Full Time (Monday to Friday 9:30 am to 6:00 pm) – $22.60 per hour.
