Kitchen Designer (Southeast Edmonton)

Job Overview We are seeking a talented and creative Kitchen Designer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate with clients to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen layouts that meet their needs and preferences. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, excellent communication skills, and a passion for transforming spaces into beautiful, productive kitchens. This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, from initial concept to final installation, ensuring customer satisfaction at every stage. Responsibilities - Meet with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, and specific requirements for their kitchen space - Create detailed 2D and 3D design plans using mozaik or other design software - Select appropriate materials, finishes, fixtures, and appliances that align with client preferences and budget - Present design concepts to clients, explaining choices and making adjustments based on feedback - Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution - Stay updated on current design trends, new products, and innovative solutions in kitchen design - Manage project timelines and communicate progress regularly to clients and team members Requirements - Proven experience in kitchen or interior design preferred; strong portfolio showcasing previous work is a plus - Proficiency in MOZAIK software and other relevant design tools - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients and team members. - Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards - Creative mindset with an eye for detail and aesthetics - Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines - Knowledge of current trends in kitchen cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, and materials is desirable - A degree or certification in interior design, architecture, or related field is preferred but not required Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2oat25
