Part Time Independent Owner Operator, 5 Ton With Railgate …, Southeast Edmonton

Join our team as an independent contract owner operator. A 5 ton truck with tailgate and Class 3 or better is required to join our team. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods and products to our customers in a timely manner. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and excellent customer service skills. Duties: - Safely operate your delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations - Load and unload products from the vehicle using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or hand trucks - Follow delivery schedules and routes to ensure timely deliveries - Verify the accuracy of delivery orders before departure - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or inquiries - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle - Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving Qualifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Vehicle Registration Certificate of Insurance listing Ontime Express Inc as Additional Insured, with the following minimum coverages: Liability Insurance: Minimum $2,000,000.00 Cargo Insurance: Minimum $35,000.00(with a rider if cargo value exceeds this amount) Commercial/General Liability WCB Clearance Letter Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
