LEGO Robotics Instructor (Part-Time) (Sherwood Park)

Code Ninjas Sherwood Park is a fun, engaging learning center where kids (ages 5–15) learn coding, robotics, and STEM skills through a game-based curriculum. We are expanding our LEGO Robotics program and are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Instructor to join our team. Position Overview: We are seeking a part time LEGO Robotics Instructor to lead our robotics sessions and help inspire young minds through hands-on learning and creativity. Schedule: - Fridays: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM - Saturdays: 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise LEGO Robotics sessions for kids - Guide students through robotics builds and basic programming concepts - Create a fun, safe, and engaging learning environment - Support students in problem-solving and teamwork - Ensure classroom management and positive behaviour Qualifications: - Strong interest in Robotics, Coding, STEM, or Technology - Preference will be given to candidates with experience in FLL (FIRST LEGO League) or VEX Robotics competitions - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Experience working with children (ages 5–14) preferred - Responsible, patient, and enthusiastic Why Join Us? - Fun and supportive work environment - Opportunity to inspire and mentor young learners - Gain experience in STEM education and Robotics programs Pay: $15.00-$18.00 per hour Benefits: - On-site parking Application question(s): - Do you have experience with LEGO Robotics, FLL, or VEX programs?
