Clinical Veterinary Externship at NVA (Sherwood Park)

Gain practical experience through a hands-on externship at an NVA hospital. Develop skills in patient care, treatment planning, and surgical assistance alongside experienced veterinarians. This externship provides veterinary students a unique insight into daily practice operations. Students will work with supervising Associate Veterinarians to gather histories, perform physical exams, and assist in surgeries while practicing communication with the medical team and clients. Externship durations range from two to eight weeks based on schedules.
