Responsibilities - Greet guests warmly upon arrival, creating a lively and inviting atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. - Manage reservation schedules and walk-in guest flow efficiently using POS systems such as Open table and Toast. - Lead and train host/hostess staff to deliver outstanding customer service, emphasizing clear communication and hospitality best practices. - Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover while maintaining guest satisfaction. - Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professional phone etiquette, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations. - Oversee guest relations by addressing concerns promptly and ensuring every guest feels valued and appreciated. - Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth service operations and timely seating of guests, supporting overall restaurant efficiency. Requirements - Proven experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced food service or restaurant environment. - Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that energizes the team and guests alike. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with guests, team members, and management. - Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in a lively setting. - Knowledge of food service procedures, guest services, and restaurant operations is highly desirable. - Professional appearance with good phone etiquette and guest relations skills to foster positive interactions at all times.
