Service Adviser (Southeast Edmonton)

Auto Imports is a family owned and operated auto repair shop in South Edmonton. We are a growing company & we need great people to share our vision, our passion and to join us on the journey. Currently we are seeking applications for the position of Service Adviser. Department: Service Employment Status: Full Time RESPONSIBILITIES: - Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair - Answer telephone promptly and courteously with shop approved greetings - Scheduling customer appointments for vehicle routine maintenance and repair service - Suggesting products and services to customers as per requirement - Sharing product knowledge and technical expertise with customers to build existing and new business - Providing quotes and getting customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalizing sales, and completing customer follow up - Providing recommendations based on vehicle assessments - Working with a close-knit team and communicating with Technicians - Ensuring that all products are billed accurately to the customer - Completing proactive calls to customers to determine their satisfaction level with the service received - Perform duties or special projects as assigned AREA OF SPECIALIZATION: - Customer service & retention - European import vehicles - Reviews & feedback generation - Appointment booking & scheduling REQUIREMENTS: - Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry and a history of providing exceptional customer service and business support - Valid Alberta driver license and a satisfactory driver’s abstract are conditions of employment - Ability to work Saturday’s and long hours as required - Excellent time management skills - Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work as a team - Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, ever-changing and high-volume environment - Ability to work with minimal or no supervision - Maintain a clean and tidy facility / personal workstation - Excellent computer skills are conditions of employment WE OFFER: - Great discounts for you and your family on tires, parts and mechanical services - Full-time job with regular day shifts - Ample opportunity for growth.
