Operating out of our 160,000 sq. ft. climate-controlled facility in Barrhead, Alberta, we are committed to quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. We are seeking an experienced Plant Manager to oversee all plant operations and lead our team toward achieving production, safety, and business goals. Reporting directly to the President, this is a key leadership role within the organization. What You’ll Do - Lead, plan, organize, and manage all day-to-day plant operations - Drive production efficiency and implement process improvements - Develop and execute production schedules with clear direction for teams - Monitor quality, rework, and production issues; identify root causes and implement corrective actions - Develop and improve department procedures and policies to reduce waste and increase efficiency - Oversee tool crib, yard operations, and maintenance to ensure compliance and performance - Collaborate with leadership to align production, purchasing, and manufacturing strategies with company goals - Foster strong cross-department communication and teamwork - Promote and enforce company policies, safety standards, and best practices - Build and maintain strong working relationships across all departments What We’re Looking For - Proven leadership experience in manufacturing and/or construction environments - Strong ability to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency - Effective communicator with the ability to lead cross-functional teams - Highly organized with strong decision-making and problem-solving skills - Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and quality standards - A hands-on leader who leads by example and builds team accountability - High level of integrity, professionalism, and sound judgment Qualifications - Degree in Business or a related field is an asset - Minimum 10 years of experience in construction and/or manufacturing - At least 5 years in a management or formal leadership role - Experience working with cross-functional teams (Production, Purchasing, Engineering, Sales, HR) Work Environment & Benefits - Full-time, in office position in Barrhead, Alberta - Stable, long-term leadership opportunity in a growing company - Competitive compensation based on experience - Comprehensive perks package, including: - Dental care - Extended health care - Life insurance - Disability insurance - Casual dress environment Additional Information - Location: Barrhead, Alberta - Must be able to reliably commute or relocate prior to start - In-person role If you’re a results-driven leader who thrives on improving operations, developing teams, and driving performance, we want to hear from you.
