Senior Manager Financial Reporting - Robert Half (Alberta Beach)

Our client is seeking a Senior Manager Financial Reporting to lead consolidated financial reporting, technical accounting, tax compliance and treasury oversight in a complex, multi-entity environment. This is a key leadership prospect for an experienced finance professional with strong technical expertise, a collaborative approach, and a focus on continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Financial Reporting & Consolidation - Lead the monthly and quarterly consolidation and close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness. - Prepare, review, and approve consolidated financial statements in accordance with Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE). - Maintain consistency and quality of financial reporting across multiple entities and business units. - Lead preparation of quarterly financial reporting packages, including Management Discussion and Analysis, for presentation to senior leadership and the Audit Committee. Tax Compliance - Oversee corporate and indirect/commodity tax compliance, filings, and remittances. - Coordinate with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate submissions. - Support tax planning initiatives in line with organizational objectives. Treasury - Oversee treasury activities, including cash flow reporting and short- and long-term cash forecasting. - Provide cash flow analysis and insights to support business decision-making. Qualifications - CPA designation required. - 7+ years of progressive accounting or finance experience. - 3+ years of leadership experience. - Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and consolidations, tax compliance, and board or audit committee reporting.
