Legal Assistant (Alberta Beach)

Role Description This is a full-time position for a Legal Assistant based in Edmonton, AB. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for preparing and managing legal documentation, assisting at least 2 lawyers with administrative tasks, and maintaining effective communication with clients . The role also includes managing schedules, maintaining records through the legal software (LEAP), billing and invoicing support using software, and supporting the overall efficiency of the legal team. Qualifications - Proficiency in legal practices, including law and legal document preparation in civil litigation/employment law - Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and lawyers - Experience in administrative assistance related to legal or qualified environments - Background in legal assistant duties, including organizing files and supporting legal counsel - Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills - Proficiency in legal software and office tools is an asset - Post-secondary education in a legal assistant program or equivalent is preferred Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2nmhhs
