Description
Job Overview We are looking for energetic, reliable, and customer-focused individuals to join our river tubing team for the summer season. As a Tubing Operations Associate, you will play a key role in delivering a secure, fun, and organized experience for all guests from arrival to river launch. This role involves working outdoors, assisting customers, managing equipment, and ensuring efficient flow through check-in, tube distribution, and shuttle coordination. Key Responsibilities Guest Experience - Greet customers and create a welcoming, high-energy environment - Assist guests with check-in (online reservations, walk-ins, and shuttle-only guests) - Answer questions about routes, safety rules, and expectations - Ensure all guests complete required waivers before participating Tube & Equipment Management - Distribute tubes and ensure guests receive the correct equipment - Organize and stage tubes for smooth, efficient flow - Monitor tube inventory and return process - Ensure life jackets and safety gear are available when needed Entry & Safety Control - Manage entry points and guide guests through designated pathways - Assist with bag checks and enforce company policies - Provide clear safety instructions before guests enter the river - Monitor for unsafe behavior and report concerns to supervisors Shuttle & Flow Coordination - Direct guests to shuttle loading areas - Help maintain efficient guest flow during busy periods - Communicate with team members to keep operations running smoothly Site Maintenance - Keep work areas clean and organized (tents, pathways, launch area) - Assist with setup and takedown of tents, signage, and equipment - Support general property upkeep Qualifications - Strong communication and people skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment - Comfortable standing and walking for long periods - Team-oriented with a positive attitude - Ability to stay calm and organized under pressure Preferred (but not required) - Previous customer service experience - First Aid/CPR certification Work Conditions - Outdoor work in various weather conditions - Physically active role (lifting tubes, walking, standing) - Weekend and holiday availability required during peak season Employment Details - Seasonal (Summer) - Part-time / Full-time positions available - Flexible scheduling Why Work With Us - Fun, social summer environment - Work outdoors by the river - Be part of a growing business from the ground up - Opportunity for future roles as the company expands Pay: From $17.00 per hour Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2okwmj
