Nanny (Spruce Grove)

UPDATE #3: I am looking to hire someone who is in Canada already to work legally as a nanny (they need to the legal requirements for caregiving of work experience and education) under my LMIA. Unfortunately the Housekeeper permit program is not allowed for my city, and the pathway programs for Tourist Visas and Caregiver From Abroad are currently closed. UPDATE #2: My LMIA will be complete by July 2026. I am hoping for a start date of June 1, 2026. UPDATE: I have received a lot of replies and will respond to everyone. I am editing the position to be live-in only, as that is my preference. Thank you --- I am a solo mother who lives on an acreage located 5 minutes outside of Spruce Grove, Alberta. I am looking to hire a live-in nanny to cook weeknight dinners and provide support for childcare (children are 7 and 8 years old) and housekeeping. I have health issues and am usually home. It is a spacious home and I have had outstanding experience with live-in nannies. I understand immigration complexity and have started an LMIA. Overnight care will occasionally be required, so comfort with that responsibility is a must. I do have 2 medium-sized friendly dogs, but pet care is not a part of this position. I have 2 older children as well, who do not require care. My oldest daughter lives in Edmonton. My teen son still lives at home. He is shy and quiet. The wage for this position is $18 per hour, plus benefits if desired. I can offer 30 hours a week (Mon-Fri 3pm-9pm), with additional hours available when needed for overnight care.
