Senior Project Manager - O&G - alberta beach, Alberta Beach

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead project execution for complex industrial and oil & gas projects. This role is ideal for a hands-on and technically strong Project Manager with experience leading multidisciplinary oil & gas projects through engineering, fabrication, and delivery. Responsibilities - Lead and manage engineering, procurement, fabrication, field execution, and overall project delivery activities for technically complex oil & gas and industrial projects - Manage project schedules, budgets, forecasting, cost control, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle - Oversee and review engineering deliverables including P&IDs;, datasheets, material requisitions, purchase orders, and related technical documentation - Coordinate closely with engineering, drafting, fabrication, and production teams to ensure alignment between office and shop operations - Monitor fabrication progress, track shop hours across disciplines, and ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget - Lead onsite coordination activities for installation, repair, and replacement scopes involving internal teams, contractors, and third-party vendors - Identify project risks and proactively resolve engineering, fabrication, operational, and client-related issues - Lead client meetings, progress reporting, and maintain solid working relationships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders - Support execution of gas processing, helium processing, and related energy infrastructure projects - Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and within budget - Maintain accurate project documentation and support successful project close-out activities Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Engineering Technology Diploma preferred - P.Eng. designation required or actively working toward designation - PMP designation considered an asset - 10+ years of Project Management experience within industrial, energy, or oil & gas environments - Previous EPF (Engineering, Procurement & Fabrication) experience required - Experience managing projects involving engineering, design, fabrication, and field execution scopes - Strong understanding of oil & gas processing facilities, fabrication operations, and industrial project delivery - Experience managing multidisciplinary teams in fast-paced project environments - Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively manage client-facing interactions - Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate projects throughout the full lifecycle from engineering through fabrication and delivery Compensation & Benefits - Competitive compensation package based on experience - Opportunity to lead large-scale and technically complex industrial projects - Collaborative and team-oriented work environment - Long-term growth opportunities and leadership opportunities within the organization - Exposure to multidisciplinary engineering and fabrication operations Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
