Labourer/Flagger - Chip Seal Division (Travel Paid, Hotels …, Acheson

Based out of Acheson, AB | Travel Across Western Canada ACP Applied Products, a division of Canadian Road Builders Inc., is hiring Construction Labourers / Flaggers to support our Chip Seal road maintenance crews. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors, travelling for projects, and being part of a team that maintains highways and road infrastructure across Western Canada. What You’ll Do - Perform traffic control / flagging to ensure the safety of workers and the public - Set up and maintain temporary traffic control devices (signage, arrow boards, barricades, cones) - Provide general construction labour support to the Chip Seal crew - Assist equipment operators, lead hands, and forepersons as needed - Maintain awareness of job site hazards and follow all safety procedures - Support daily operations to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently Requirements - Valid Class 5 Driver’s License - Reliable transportation - Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions - Ability to read, write, and communicate in English - Willingness to travel for work (projects in AB, BC, SK, YT & NWT) - Ability to work overtime and night shifts when required - Must pass drug & alcohol testing and fit-for-duty testing - CSA-approved safety boots required Preferred Qualifications - Previous road construction, paving, or chip seal experience is an asset, but training will be provided - Experience with traffic control or flagging - Knowledge ofconstruction safety practices What We Offer - Competitive hourly wages - Comprehensive benefits package - Paid travel time - Hotels and per diem provided when working away from Edmonton - Company-provided PPE and safety training - Opportunities to travel and work across Western Canada - A strong safety-first culture (Goal Zero) Join a team that helps keep Western Canada’s highways protected and well maintained.
