Reman Service Technician, Heavy Equipment (Acheson)

Calling all Red Seal Journeymen - Off Road/On Road Equipment! Liebherr Canada is seeking a new addition to our Re-manufacturing department. The position is responsible for effective remanufacturing of major components on the Ultra- class off highway trucks, Shovels and Dozers, at the highest levels of quality. Responsible for the assembly, disassembly, and inspection of major components. Responsibilities Reconditioning and re-manufacturing of major components Inspection and measuring of piece parts for re-usability Assemble components to current factory specifications Test components as per factory guidelines and specifications Ensure timely delivery programs are achieved Maintain and care for tools and equipment as per Liebherr standards Document all technical data, up-to-date status reports, and write detailed inspection reports maintain accurate working records for labour and time sheets, Responsible for warranty upgrades and general repair Investigate and resolve reported technical problems with equipment and assist with service-related issues for our customers Competencies Minimum 5+ years demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are a definite asset Must have Canadian Heavy Equipment Technician designation (Red Seal Journeyman - off road/on road equipment) Previous experience working with re-manufacturing and reconditioning strongly preferred Customer centric, with the ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships Strong communication skills, verbal and written Champion health and safety standards at all times Our Offer Please note this is a unionized position $5000 annual License Bonus* Extensive benefits with employer paid premiums after 120 days Paid vacation starting at 120 hours PLUS 48 hours of dedicated sick time 6% employer RRSP matching $3000 annual allowance for continuing education $1000 Annual Tool allowance & $600 Annual Boot allowance $400 Prescription Safety Glasses allowance International training & development work opportunities for select roles* Top of the line equipment And much more!
