Pharmacy Assistant (Drayton Valley)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the pharmacy operations by assisting pharmacists in delivering high-quality patient care. Your responsibilities will include medication preparation, inventory management, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare professionals. Duties - Assist pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications - Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary - Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health regulations - Support medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist - Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent service to enhance patient satisfaction - Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information Experience - Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant is highly desirable - Familiarity with medication administration processes and patient care practices - Strong organisational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Ability to work effectively in a team setting as well as independently If you are passionate about healthcare and eager to contribute to a dynamic pharmacy team, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding opportunity.
