Role Description This is a full-time, in office Plumber role based in Spruce Grove, AB. The Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in new construction and existing buildings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and fixtures. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints, laying out and assembling pipes, troubleshooting plumbing issues, and performing routine maintenance. The role involves working closely with heating, cooling, gas fitting, and refrigeration teams to coordinate project work and ensure systems function safely and efficiently. The Plumber will interact with customers on service calls, provide clear explanations of work performed, and maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with relevant codes and standards. Qualifications - Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and code-compliant repairs. - Experience working with various types of pipe, fittings, and related tools and materials. - Proven ability in maintenance and repair, including preventive maintenance for plumbing systems. - Customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and respectfully on-site. - Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship in plumbing (or progress toward completion) is preferred. - Knowledge of local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and best practices in construction and service environments. - Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, work in varied conditions, and use hand and power tools safely. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites in and around Spruce Grove, AB.
