HR Investments Ltd. - Site Location Trestle Creek Golf Resort Parkland County, AB Position: Construction Supervisor As a member of the management team and head of the Construction Department, the Construction Supervisor is responsible for the overall direction of field construction activities including, allocating resources, managing departmental budgets, meeting construction schedules. The Construction Supervisor is responsible for all construction crews and subcontractors, ensuring they are meeting deadlines, following the scope of work, and safe work practices. Duties and Responsibilities: Preparing materials, tools, and equipment at the construction site Consult team leaders and manager on construction plans Follow instructions and use tools and equipment to complete daily tasks Adhere to all health and safety regulations when operating equipment Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner Clean and clear debris keeping work site clean and organized Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly Requirements and Qualifications· Provide construction employees with education in recent techniques, safety, policies, and procedures. · Track all aspects of construction: including performance of constructions employees, workplace health and safety issues, scopes of work, construction schedules, quality expectations. · Manage construction budget by monitoring department expenditures; identify variances; implement corrective actions. · Ensure statutory health and safety, emphasizing individual responsibility.· Interview, hire, train, develop, plan, and assign work, evaluate performance, recommend compensation, and discipline actions according to the Company policies and procedures. Act as the point of contact for all construction projects. Collaborate with other departments to resolve any construction issues. Additional duties and responsibilities as required.
