Fountain Tire Whitecourtis searching for a friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced Service Managerto manage the operations of the service department to drive productivity, quality assurance and to promote a high level of customer satisfaction. As a Service Manager, your duties will include: Overseeing and managing mechanical and tire services Setting quality standards and maintaining thequality of all shopactivities Creating work orders and arranging bookings and communicating them to the technicians Provide service quotes and receive customer authorization for work to be performed on vehicles, finalize sales, and complete customer follow up Recommend tire service, specialty tire service, wheel and mechanical service to customers Ensuring completion of shop maintenance and repair work Addressing customer complaints and inquiries in a courteous, professional manner Advising techniciansof work that must be completed Ensuring technicians compliance with company standardsregardingquality, safety, and customer service Managing the morale in the shop by setting and demonstrating a strong business ethic for dealing with employees, suppliers and customers Maintaining the cleanliness of the shop Our ideal candidate has/is: 5+ yearsof automotive industry experience Advanced Knowledge of mechanical services is required Commercial vehicle inspection program and out of province inspection certifications Effective leadership skills, with a solid focus on operations and business processes High level of integrity and accountabilityA customer service focus Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with team members and customers Strong communication, and interpersonal skills Continuously looking to learn and use recent skills and the demonstrated ability to recognize opportunities for improvements Flexible, patient, and calm when working with tight schedules Interested and qualified?
