Job Description Position Overview North Star Windows & Doors currently has an opening for an Electrician within our Maintenance team. In this role, you will partner with Millwrights and fellow Electricians to support the day-to-day operations of a fast-paced window and door manufacturing facility. This position is responsible for maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting a variety of plant equipment. Youll play a key role in keeping operations running smoothly by diagnosing electrical issues while also assisting with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems when needed. Key Responsibilities Maintain, install, and dismantle machinery and equipment in line with operational requirements Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues Respond to equipment breakdowns and support timely resolution Perform preventative maintenance on machinery and equipment Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine proper procedures Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, codes, and company standards Identify potential hazards and contribute to a safe working environment Support and guide apprentices as required to ensure successful task completion Qualifications Licensed 309A or 442A Electrician, or apprentices with level 2 and above Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and electronic) Working knowledge of CMMS work order systems Positive attitude with a robust work ethic and team mindset Proven reliability and strong attendance record Experience in the fenestration industry is considered an asset Flexibility to support 24/7 operations and overtime as required Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Willingness to work in an environment requiring PPE (safety boots, glasses, etc.) Awareness of hazards associated with the electrical trade Additional Information Cornerstone Building Brands Canada is committed to an inclusive, equitable, and accessible workplace.
