Part time Night Auditor (St. Thomas)

The Night Auditor is responsible for managing the overnight operations at the hotel. It is an overnight position, where the shifts would begin at 11pm and finish at 7am. Duties and Responsibilities - Perform nightly audits of financial transactions and reports - Verify the accuracy of guest accounts and resolve any discrepancies - Ensures current day is closed and operating day is turned over correctly - Handle guest inquiries and provide exceptional customer service - Greet and welcome guests as they arrive at the hotel - Check guests in and out, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and recorded accurately - Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries in a professional and courteous manner - Process payments and maintain accurate records of guest transactions - Communicate any outstanding guest requests or issues to management that may require additional monitoring or follow-up - Maintain a clean and organized front desk area - Other duties as required by management Qualifications: - Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts (11PM-7AM) and weekends as required. - Must speak fluent English - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information and transactions - Frequently standing up behind the desk and front office area - Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite - Handling objects, products, and computer equipment - Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with guests and employees - Basic math skills are used frequently - May be required to work weekends, and/or holidays as we are in operation 24/7 - 365 days a year Job Type: Part-time Pay: From $19.00 per hour Perks - On-site parking Ability to commute/relocate: - St. Thomas, ON N5R 5Z3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred) Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o2yi5
