McFarlan Rowlands Insurance Brokers offers a complete line of commercial, personal lines, life, disability, employee benefit plans and risk management services through our network of offices across Southwestern Ontario. This position would require working from our Aylmer Location. Key Responsibilities: - Provide service to assigned clients on renewal and throughout the policy period; handle questions and general inquiries, recommend and provide increased limits or coverage. - Responsible for all incoming inquiries and requested changes regarding assigned clients. - Responsible for the quality and timeliness of all policy documentation processing; current business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, etc. - Record and process various claims transactions. - Responsible for accounts receivable for assigned clients, adhering to corporate accounts receivable procedures. - Ensure all abeyance items are completed through the use of follow-up lists. - Solicit new personal lines business from existing accounts - Provide backup for other Personal Lines Account Managers as required. - Adhere to all system procedures and insurance company regulations. - Other duties, or special projects as required. Branch Manager Duties: - Responsible for keeping branch employees apprised of new systems, processes, procedures, and regulations on an ongoing basis. - Tracking employee time and attendance to ensure proper office coverage through calendars and ADP. - Conduct regular check-ins with staff to ensure expectations are being met and seek additional resources if necessary. - Assist with interviewing and hiring of new employees. - Distribution of bi-monthly accounts receivable reports, monitor and encourage timely collection of outstanding premiums. - Address employee concerns, in conjunction with HR. - Conduct performance, salary, and bonus reviews with staff. - Conduct branch specific staff meetings, as required. - Responsible for dealing with elevated customer complaints and resolving grievances. - Involvement in budgeting, reviewing, and monitoring financials at the branch level to achieve targets.
