North Star Process Engineer Opportunity (St. Thomas)

Drive innovation at North Star as a Process Engineer responsible for optimizing window and door product lines. Focus on enhancing efficiency, safety, and quality through advanced engineering practices.

The Process Engineer will work with Product Engineering and Manufacturing teams to evaluate processes and implement solutions that elevate production standards. This includes conducting time studies, supporting current product launches, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Your ability to analyze production data will propel continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: • Analyze manufacturing processes for increased throughput • Develop and implement tooling and automation concepts • Conduct time studies for capacity and cost evaluations • Collaborate on new product designs for manufacturability • Lead Lean and continuous improvement efforts

Requirements: • 3 years of experience in Process or Continuous Improvement Engineering • Skilled in CAD and 3D software • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities • Background in architectural or fenestration industries an asset • Post-secondary degree in a relevant Engineering field
