Medical Secretary/Receptionist (St. Thomas)

An established cardiac testing and diagnostics clinic is looking to hire a Medical Receptionist to join the team. - Greet patients and visitors as they arrive. - Book patients for consultation and testing. - Accurately check-in patients by obtaining complete demographics, insurance information, and consent. Also, complete the patient assessment form and assign it to the correct doctor. - Respond to patient inquiries in a courteous and empathic manner. Must have telephone manners. Checking the voice mail multiple times a day. - Maintain attention to detail for all medical records. Scan documents into patient charts. - Assist cardiologists during consultation day. - Keep track and hook up holters and remind patients to return holters on time. - Coordinate with Technical Manager for abnormal tests and book patients for consults. - Maintain a clean and organized clinic. - To qualify for the role, the Applicant must have: - Minimum 1 year of relevant experience working in a rapid-paced environment, providing a high degree of patient care. - Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities - Ability to learn and work with EMR (Electronic Medical Records). - On job training will be provided for Holter, ECG and IV.
