Our client, a well-established custom manufacturing company, is looking to add an experienced CNC Programmer / Machining Specialist to their growing team. This is a long-term chance for someone who enjoys working on complex components, taking ownership of setups and programming, and contributing to a high-quality production environment. This position is best suited for a hands-on machinist with strong milling experience who can confidently work independently from print to finished product. Full-Time | Day Shift | Southwestern Ontario Pay: $25.00 - $35.00/hour What You’ll Be Doing Program, set up, and operate CNC milling equipment for custom and production machining projects Interpret engineering drawings Create and modify programs using CAM software Perform tooling changes, offsets, and machine adjustments to maintain efficiency and quality Conduct first-off inspections and verify dimensions using precision measuring equipment Troubleshoot machining and programming issues to minimize downtime and scrap Support continuous improvement initiatives related to cycle times, tooling, and machining processes Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all company safety procedures Assist with material handling and general shop responsibilities as needed Qualifications Previous experience in CNC milling within a manufacturing or machine shop setting Strong understanding of CNC programming and machining processes Experience with CAD/CAM software Ability to complete setups independently and work with tight tolerances Comfortable using measuring tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges Robust blueprint reading and problem-solving abilities Forklift or overhead crane experience considered an asset Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety conscious What’s Offered $25.00 - $35.00/hour based on experience Day shift Permanent full time opportunity Stable and growing manufacturing environment Prospect to work on advanced machining projects and equipment If you are an experienced CNC qualified looking for a long-term opportunity with a strong team environment, we would like to hear from you.
