We are hiring for a growing company specializing in the manufacturing and distribution of basement window systems. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and safety conscious Window Bracer to join the production team. If you enjoy hands-on work, have experience with tools and equipment, and take pride in producing quality work, we'd like to hear from you. Responsibilities - Build rough wooden window braces according to specifications and instructions. - Read and interpret measurements and dimensions for window frames. - Measure, mark, and cut boards and plywood to required sizes. - Operate hand tools, power tools, and production equipment safely and efficiently. - Assist with maintaining production quality standards and meeting daily targets. - Support continuous improvement efforts to increase efficiency, accuracy, and productivity. - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. - Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures. Qualifications - Ability to operate light machinery, forklifts, and other site equipment. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - Basic math and measurement skills. - Good communication and teamwork abilities. - Strong time-management skills and ability to adapt to changing priorities. - Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift. - Ability to lift and carry (60 lbs. / 27 kg or more). - Must have a reliable means of transportation - Previous manufacturing, construction, woodworking, or general labour experience is an asset.
