Social Media Coordinator / Fundraiser (St. Albert)

Job Overview We are looking for a creative, friendly, and motivated student to join our team as a Social Media Coordinator / Fundraiser. This is a great opportunity for students who are interested in social media, content creation, community work, and event support. The student will help promote our programs online, take photos and videos during camps and events, support fundraising activities, and engage with children during different programs and activities. Responsibilities - Create and post content on social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn - Take photos and videos during summer camps, community events, and organization programs - Create easy videos and social media content showcasing program activities and memorable moments - Help increase online engagement and promote organizational events - Assist with fundraising campaigns and community outreach - Research businesses and organizations that may donate or sponsor our programs - Help organize and promote events and activities - Engage with children during camps and activities in a fun, respectful, and positive way - Support staff and volunteers during programs and events - Respond to social media messages and comments when needed Qualifications - Current student or recent graduate - Interested in social media, marketing, fundraising, or community work - Comfortable taking pictures and videos using a phone or camera - strong knowledge of social media platforms and content creation - Creative, organized, and willing to learn - Friendly and comfortable working with children and families - Good communication and teamwork skills - Experience with Canva, video editing apps - First Aid and CPR certification (required or willingness to obtain) - Clear Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check (as required) Pay: $17.00 per hour Benefits - On-site parking Work Location: In person Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o2hpy
