Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Jr. Accountant role based in St. Albert, AB. The Jr. Accountant will assist with financial reporting, preparation of accounting documents, data entry, and reconciliations. The role also includes supporting tax preparation, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with relevant financial regulations. Collaboration with senior accountants and providing support for client inquiries are key aspects of this position. Qualifications - Basic accounting skills such as data entry, reconciliations, and financial reporting - Familiarity with tax preparation and related regulatory compliance - Proficiency in managing accounts payable and receivable and using accounting software - Strong organizational, time-management, and analytical skills - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision - Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience) - Previous experience in a similar role or a professional services setting is an asset - Knowledge of Canadian accounting standards is a plus Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2o37o4
