Real Estate Accounting Officer & Coordinator DataPoint Capital / Legacy Properties St. Albert, Alberta Full-Time | In-Office About Us We’re a fast-moving real estate investment and development company involved in commercial, multifamily, and industrial properties across Alberta. Our team works closely with lenders, accountants, property managers, lawyers, and investors to keep projects moving and operations organized. We’re looking for someone organized, proactive, and detail-oriented who enjoys variety in their day and wants to grow with a company that’s constantly evolving. This role is perfect for someone who loves organization, thrives in a busy environment, and can switch between administrative, accounting, and operations support throughout the day. What You’ll Be Doing - Assisting with communication between banks, accountants, lawyers, and property managers - Coordinating documentation for financing applications and acquisitions - Creating and organizing property and company folders - Assisting with new company and bank account setup - Supporting management with day-to-day operational tasks Accounts Payable / Receivable - Uploading and coding invoices in QuickBooks Online - Printing and processing invoices and cheques - Setting up EFTs and CAFT payments - Reviewing invoices with management and property managers for approval - Assisting with monthly payables and reporting - Monitoring receivables and tenant collections - Assisting with tenant statement preparation and communication Accounting & Reporting Support - Assisting with month-end preparation - Supporting preparation of financial reports and lender requests - Coordinating documentation with accountants - Maintaining organized accounting records and backup documentation What We’re Looking For - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks at once - Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Experience with QuickBooks Online is considered an asset - Experience in real estate, accounting, administration, or property management is an asset - Positive attitude and willingness to learn - Self-motivated and dependable Why Join Us? - Supportive and team-oriented office environment - Opportunity to grow alongside a rapidly expanding company - Exposure to commercial real estate, financing, acquisitions, and operations - Varied and engaging workdays - A team that values initiative, organization, and problem-solving How to Apply Please submit your resume along with a short introduction about yourself and why you’d be a good fit for the role.
