The Chance As Controller, you will lead the accounting and administrative function across multiple operating companies and brands. You’ll sit on the executive team alongside ownership and operational leadership, helping shape strategic decisions while building scalable financial systems for growth. This role is ideal for someone who loves both: - Strategy AND execution - Leadership AND hands-on problem solving - Process improvement AND people development What You’ll Own Financial Leadership - Lead AP, AR, payroll, reconciliations, monthly close, controls, and reporting - Own QuickBooks Online across multiple entities - Build executive reporting packages, variance analysis, rolling forecasts, and annual budgeting - Manage weekly cash flow forecasting and financial visibility across the organization Continuous Improvement - Document and simplify processes - Implement Lean thinking inside accounting and administration - Eliminate waste and improve workflow efficiency - Use technology and AI tools where they create value Team Leadership - Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team - Build accountability and ownership - Help your team become analytical thinkers and business partners — not just transactional processors Acquisitions & Growth - Support acquisitions and integrations - Assist with diligence and financial analysis - Help scale systems and processes as the organization grows Administrative Oversight - Support insurance, compliance, HR policy coordination, WCB alignment, and corporate administration functions Your First Year Success in this role means: 1.
