Front Desk Agent - Relocate to Waterton, Alberta (Seasonal)

Work in Waterton Lakes National Park this Summer Spend your summer in the Canadian Rockies at Bayshore Inn & Spa / Waterton Glacier Suites in Waterton Lakes National Park (3 hours south of Calgary). The Bayshore Inn & Spa is the premier resort in Waterton. Located along the main strip and the lakefront, the Bayshore Inn and Waterton Glacier Suites house the 3 highest-rated restaurants in the Park, a Starbucks bistro, a spa, and a convention center, all in the heart of Waterton. We are looking for dynamic,passionate Front Desk Agents who are committed to delivering exceptional customer service. We are looking for What You’ll Do - Greet guests with a smile and answer their questions as required. - Responsible for checking guests in and out of the Hotel. - Issues room keys, pamphlets, discount cards, etc. - Answers various questions from guests. - Runs various reports on the computer for management. - Other duties as assigned. - Complete shift audits as required. - Print updated in-house, arrival, departure, and room status reports every two hours pending activity. - Check all unresolved departures. - Ensure front desk is stocked with any items guests may require before housekeeping leaves for the day. - Clean and tidy front desk area. - Provide information to staff and/or clients about special activities. - Observe and report any security issues to the Hotel Manager. - Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment What We’re Looking For - Be passionate about the hospitality industry - Reliable, responsible, and team-focused - Strong communication and organization - Comfortable working in a busy environment - Able to always stay professional and guest-focused - Must be a team player with excellent time management and communication skills Perks & Benefits - Clean, affordable staff housing - Discounts on food & beverage and spa services - Discounts with local businesses - Staff events (movie nights, parties, etc.) - Employee recognition - Referral bonuses - Shuttle access to Pincher Creek - Subsidized hotel rates for immediate family Contract Dates (Seasonal) The Bayshore Inn & Spa is a seasonal resort open from May 3rd to October 15th. There is some flexibility on the start date; all contracts can end no earlier than after the Labor Day long weekend in September. There are only a few spots for September end dates, and most contracts will end at the completion of our season in October. We are a seasonal business and require a commitment from our staff to stay through the end of their contract.
