Transportation Planning Co-op (Fall 2026) (Alberta)

As part of HDR’s Transportation Business Group, you’ll help shape transportation systems. In the role of Transportation Planning/Engineering Co‑op, you will: Gain real‑world experience on transportation planning and civil engineering projects Collaborate with recent graduates and company leaders through mentoring programs Apply standard engineering techniques and procedures Perform assignments under the direct supervision of a qualified or Project Manager Perform other duties as needed Preferred Qualifications Preference for students with 2 years completed toward a degree and a 3.0+ GPA Demonstrated knowledge of software packages relevant to the field of study/industry Required Qualifications Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program Attention to detail Strong problem‑solving and communication skills Basic Microsoft Office skills Commitment to being an active participant in HDR’s employee‑owned culture Primary Location: Canada – Alberta – Calgary Industry: Transit Schedule: Full‑time Employee Status: Temporary HDR is an affirmative action and equal opportunity employer.
