What You'll Do: Put Safety First: Your primary role is to ensure everyone’s safety. You’ll expertly manage safety and emergency equipment, follow strict Standard Operating Procedures, and make quick, confident decisions to protect our guests and crew. Create Remarkable Experiences: From a friendly welcome to anticipating needs during the flight, you’ll deliver the kind of genuine, caring service that makes WestJet, WestJet. Be a Adaptable Traveler: You’ll be based in Calgary and need to be ready for up to five days away at a time, working a schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts. Job Requirements A People Person: You have 2-3 years of experience in customer service and genuinely enjoy helping others. You know how to handle challenging situations with grace and a smile. A Clear Communicator: You have an advanced level of spoken and written English. Proficiency in a second language like French, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, or Spanish is a huge asset! Ready for Action: You’re at least 19 years old, can reach 204 cm, lift 50 lbs, and are comfortable working in a fast-paced, confined environment. A Reliable Professional: You have a proven track record of punctuality, hold a valid passport (or PR card with necessary visas), and can pass a background check to obtain an Airport RAIC. Conditions of Employment: Please know that this safety-critical role comes with non-negotiable conditions designed to keep everyone safe. This includes: Successfully completing a comprehensive training program without any absences. Passing a pre-employment alcohol and drug screening.
