Position Available: Computer Science Teacher Location: Rundle College 7-12, Calgary, Alberta Start date: August 20, 2026 Posting: Internal/External Capacity: 1 Permanent Full-Time Position Calendar: School Calendar Application closing date: Until Successful Candidate Selected Position Rundle College Society is seeking a full-time permanent Computer Science Teacher for Rundle College 7-12. Duties & Responsibilities Teach Computer Science in Grades 10-12 Collaboratively lead Robotics within our co-curricular program. Foster classroom routines that increase and enhance engagement. Collaborate with the Computer Science team to elevate the curriculum and incorporate innovation. Establish a warm, caring, and engaging learning environment where students feel safe, respected and valued. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to create a personalized learning experience for all students. Communicate effectively with parents to provide ongoing feedback and support. Participate in faculty and professional meetings, assemblies and various professional development opportunities; Attend events, report for supervision, and contribute to the co-curricular offerings, as is expected of a full-time teacher at Rundle. Other duties as assigned by the Principal Knowledge, Skills & Technical Ability Alberta Teaching Certification Have a police information check completed with a vulnerable sector verification within the last 6 months Must be flexible, collaborative and have a positive, growth mindset Confident user of technology and able to utilize it in instructional practice. Ability to develop strong partnerships with teachers, parents, and administration Demonstrate an open mind and the desire to improve practice through skilled reading and/or participating in relevant professional development opportunities Previous experience working in an independent school is considered an asset Multiple teachable-areas, such as math and/or science, is considered an asset.
