Project Controls Student (Alberta)

Position Overview We are seeking a Project Controls Student for our Canadian Industrial Division in Edmonton, AB. The role is available for 8 months beginning in September 2026 and will report directly to the Project Controls Manager . Responsibilities Participation in a multi-disciplinary project controls team. Assist with preparation and analysis of trending schedule, progress, and cost information for project personnel. Participate in team or client meetings. Gather information for the project team that helps define scope of work. Collect data for the project weekly and monthly progress reports. Demonstrate problem‑solving abilities and skilled judgment. Perform ad hoc duties as required. Qualifications Pursuing a degree or diploma in engineering, e.g., mechanical, electrical, or civil major. Strong desire to work in a construction environment; prior field construction experience will be considered an asset. Application of computer software programs required, including Microsoft Suite; knowledge of AutoCAD and Bluebeam is an asset. Self‑motivated and capable of working independently.
