Who we are looking for Capable of creating interior spaces that reflect a variety of needs and styles Relationship-focused, energetic, resourceful and results-oriented individual who thrives on accepting new challenges Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills Knowledgeable on current and upcoming design trends, residential construction and reading floorplans. Someone who works well independently and as part of a team A strong communicator with a proven track record in conflict resolution Responsibilities Coordinate Showhome selections in Calgary and Edmonton Make all interior selections staying up to date about current design trends and materials Select all furniture, fabrics, wall coverings, window treatments and accessories to fulfill the requirements and vision of the space Present a furniture plan and mood board to help visualize the design Meet project and budget specifications Provide warehouse assistance, management and furniture coordination Conduct site visits Stage showhomes at completion and do final walk through Monitor design studio selections Assist in procuring and updating design palettes and continuously improve/evolve existing interior design palettes with the market Coordinate Spec Home selections Select interior and exterior finishes for Anthem spec home products Coordinate interior selection appointments with homeowners. Consult on and submit homeowner interior selections and optional upgrades Consult on and submit any change orders for interior selections Track homeowner selection data and current market trends Be accountable for proactively educating homeowners, setting expectations and delivering timely, engaging communications Liaise with all internal departments, including Sales, Liaison, Estimating, Drafting, Construction and Warranty with regards to the sales process, interior selections, construction details and timelines Maintain a positive 'get it done' attitude and be the trusted advisor for homeowners, navigating homeowner concerns and difficult conversations Qualifications A diploma/degree in Interior Design from a recognized institute 2+ years of progressive homeowner service experience Previous experience in the residential construction industry (preferred) Strong organizational skills and are extremely detail-oriented The proven ability to maintain professional interactions A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle Advantages Great, diverse, authentic people!
