Date: 26.02.2026 The Role Reporting to the Head of Compliance & Administration, the Compliance & Operations Executive supports ensuring the organisation operates in a compliant, structured and efficient manner by maintaining and strengthening management systems and external certifications, ensuring governance, documentation and reporting remain accurate and audit‑ready. The role provides ownership of procedures and follow‑through to ensure established systems are properly maintained and consistently applied across all certified and regulated areas of the business. Key Responsibilities Management Systems & Certification Compliance Maintain and safeguard all management systems and external certifications held by the organisation, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and other applicable industry or regulatory standards Manage document control systems, registers, and compliance records with accuracy and consistency Coordinate internal audits and systematically track corrective actions to closure Support external certification and surveillance audits across all approved schemes and accreditations Maintain up-to-date records to meet regulatory, certification and operational standards Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements escalating gaps to the Head of Compliance Support preparation for new certifications, renewals and scope extensions where required Ensure adherence to frameworks including data protection obligations Operational Optimisation Map business processes across departments to ensure clarity, accountability and alignment with approved procedures Identify inefficiencies, duplication or gaps in process implementation Recommend structured improvements to enhance consistency, accountability and control Standardise procedures across departments and subsidiaries to ensure uniform application Align operational processes with management system and certification requirements Support digitalisation initiatives (ERP/workflow platforms) Ensure documented procedures accurately reflect operational practice and are properly implemented Risk & Governance Support Support enterprise risk assessments Track non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented within agreed timelines Work with department heads to reinforce internal controls and compliance discipline Facilitate structured policy reviews and updates Assist in monitoring compliance obligations arising from certifications and regulatory bodies Provide structured reports, dashboards and summaries Executive & Administrative Support Manage and maintain organised records, files, and confidential documentation Prepare professional reports, dashboards, presentations, and briefs Issue meeting agendas, coordinate submissions, record detailed minutes, and ensure action follow‑up Track executive action plans, manage deadlines and ensure consistent follow‑through Provide backup front office support when required Reporting & Performance Monitoring Monitor performance against quality, compliance and operational metrics Support the preparation of management review inputs and certification performance summaries The list of ‘Responsibilities’ appearing in this job description is neither necessarily exhaustive nor is any part of this job description permanent. Required Qualifications & Experience Experience 3–5 years’ experience in management systems and certification environments (ISO and/or other regulated or accredited schemes) Demonstrated experience in maintaining structured processes and ensuring procedural compliance Experience in audit preparation and corrective action tracking Solid administrative and executive support experience Exposure to ERP, workflow or digital systems preferred Experience in technical services, engineering, construction or regulated environments preferred Qualifications ISO Internal Auditor Certification (mandatory) ISO Lead Auditor (preferred) Knowledge of additional certification frameworks will be considered an asset Required Skills & Attributes Communication & Professional Presence Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly across all organisational levels Proven ability to prepare professional reports, presentations and documentation with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Able to reinforce compliance expectations in a professional manner while building trusted relationships with stakeholders Ownership, Organisation & Follow‑Through Robust ownership of responsibilities with the ability to manage tasks from initiation through to completion Demonstrated ability to track actions, manage deadlines and ensure timely follow‑through without reminders Strong planning, prioritisation and task‑tracking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and disciplined manner Maintains accuracy and consistency across documentation, certification records and reporting Integrity, Judgement & Professionalism Demonstrates unquestionable integrity and ethical behaviour Exercises sound judgement and maintains high standards of professionalism and discretion Analytical Thinking Strong analytical and critical thinking skills Understanding of governance principles, compliance frameworks Able to anticipate issues and support management with structured, practical solutions Digital Literacy & Systems Orientation Comfortable using systems to manage documentation, corrective actions and compliance registers Uses digital tools to improve tracking, visibility and administrative control Company Culture Fit Embraces and upholds the company’s values, mission, policies and governance standards Demonstrates a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset Strives for continuous improvement and operational discipline Acts loyally and professionally when communicating on behalf of Alberta Group Respects established structures while constructively reinforcing accountability Remarks The job holder will carry out duties as directed by senior management within the reasonable scope of the role Responsibilities may evolve in line with organisational, governance or regulatory requirements #J-18808-Ljbffr Apply on Kit Job: kitjob.ca/job/2orxes
