Part Time ECE Educators - Level 1, 2 or 3 (St. Albert)

SADCS is looking for part time educators, shifts include: 7-10 am, 3-6pm, or 7-10am & 3-6pm. Pay: Level 1 Early Childhood Educator starting wage is currently $16.48 base wage, Level 2 is $17.26 and Level 3 is $19.57, plus the corresponding Government Wage Enhancement. Job description: SADCS is looking for a passionate Level 1 ,2, or 3 Early Childhood Educators who are excited to continue developing their skills as educators. This role is ideal for an educator who loves working directly with children, while receiving mentorship and support to build skills in supervision, program leadership, and team collaboration within a non-profit child care environment. Job Description and Key Responsibilities: - Plan and implement developmentally appropriate, play-based programming aligned with our centre values, program philosophy, and curriculum objectives. - Build warm, responsive, and inclusive relationships with children, families, and colleagues through ongoing communication. - Model high standards of practice, professionalism, and reflective learning. - Collaborate with the team to support curriculum planning, documentation, and workplace design. - Provide opportunities to express creativity through the media of art, dramatic play, music and physical activity - Guiding and assisting children in the development of proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits. - Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care. - Meet the emotional, social, physical and cognitive needs of each child - Arrange classroom environemnts in accordance to program goals and philosophy and maintain cleanliness of the room. - Maintain confidentiality and accurate documentation, including incident reports, as well as adhere to licensing regulations and centre policies. - Attend staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education opportunities.Assist room lead with both long and short range activities in accordance with curriculum objectives, developmentally appropriate practice and program philosophy.
