Drywall Foreman Site supervision (St. Albert)

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Drywall Foreman to lead and supervise drywall installation projects on construction sites. This role is vital in ensuring that drywall work is completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and team members to deliver outstanding results while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols and project timelines. Your expertise in construction management and site supervision will drive project success from start to finish. Responsibilities - Oversee daily drywall installation activities, ensuring work is completed on schedule and within budget - Supervise and coordinate the efforts of drywall crews, subcontractors, and vendors on-site - Ensure all work complies with blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings, including understanding of drywall specifications and quality standards - Monitor safety protocols, enforce OSHA regulations, and promote a safe working setting for all personnel - Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality control, identify potential issues early, and implement corrective actions - Collaborate with project managers to develop detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore - Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure scope adherence and proper documentation of work performed - Utilize tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary and ensure all equipment is used safely and correctly - Manage material procurement, inventory control, and ensure timely delivery of drywall materials using construction estimating tools like HeavyBid or Bluebeam Requirements - Proven experience supervising drywall or general construction sites with strong leadership skills in managing teams and subcontractors - Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings specific to drywall installation projects - Familiarity with construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, or similar platforms - Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and ability to enforce safety regulations on-site - Experience in project scheduling, budgeting, and managing multiple aspects of construction projects simultaneously - Excellent communication skills for coordinating with clients, architects, engineers, and team members - Ability to read technical schematics and use testing tools such as ohmmeters for electrical inspections - Valid construction site experience with a focus on quality control and adherence to specifications - Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on efficiency and safety Join us as a Drywall Foreman Site Supervisor where your expertise will shape successful projects while fostering a safe and productive work environment.
