At Black Arrow Mfg we build solutions to solve our clients' most complex industrial challenges. We are an agile, nimble, and expanding team providing custom, short-run design-build and contract manufacturing solutions. We handle everything from simple repairs to projects too complex for standard small shops. The Role: We are looking for an experienced, practical Welder who can thrive independently within a manufacturing flow. In this role, you will be a key part of our end-to-end manufacturing process, integrated with our design, machining, and assembly teams and cross-trained to jump on whatever equipment is needed to deliver results to the customer: manual lathe, manual mill, radial arm drill, and occasionally water-jet cutter, press brake, shear, sheet metal rollers. What You’ll Be Doing: - Custom Manufacturing: Independently, and in collaboration with other skilled makers, you’ll execute custom design-build projects and permanent installations. - Quoting & Job Planning: Contributing to the quoting process using problem-solving skills to make parts more efficiently and use equipment more effectively. - Prototype Development: Creating prototypes and mock-ups to find the most cost-effective and fast solutions for client problems. - Technical Excellence: Maintaining high standards of craftsmanship to ensure every job meets our "trusted" quality standard.
