The Project Coordinator supports the Canadian assurance quality network and will play a central role in driving the execution and continuous improvement of quality monitoring and risk‑management initiatives across the assurance practice. This is more than just a coordination role — it is an opportunity to act as a program operator and catalyst, bringing structure, discipline, and forward momentum to the firm’s most critical quality initiatives. Your key responsibilities Act as the central point of contact for the group to ensure that quality controls, initiatives and monitoring programs are executed efficiently and productively. Co‑lead, coordinate and participate in team meetings with active follow‑up on action items by tracking progress against deadlines and regular follow‑up/contact with group members. Support the execution of firm‑level quality controls and monitoring activities by preparing program summaries, executing key controls and coordinating control execution across the assurance practice, including tax, consulting and valuation service‑line members that support assurance quality. Proactively track and report quality control and monitoring activities and related results. Key facilitator of communication among team members and integrate information into a central knowledge repository. Provide various administrative support for new and ongoing quality and monitoring initiatives. Skills and attributes for success Strong organizational skills and a very high attention to detail. Excellent written, verbal, oral and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proactive and anticipatory in approach and style. Ability to work with all levels of management – and use discretion and adapt style and approach accordingly. Strong analytical thinking with the ability to connect data, risks and actions. Effectively interact with others to obtain required actions. Strong team player – with ability to work independently and autonomously with little direction and guidance. Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced, dynamic team‑oriented environment. Highly proactive mindset for driving outcomes and accountability. Ideally, you’ll also Drive the ongoing evolution and enhancement of quality controls and monitoring activities, including identifying opportunities to simplify, standardise and strengthen execution.
