Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking an Internship: Motor Control Centre (MCC) – 8 month – Airdrie, AB, Canada. The hourly rate for this position is $20 – $25 per hour. What you’ll do The successful candidate will assist the Marketing office with any/ all engineering functions including, but not limited to, quotations, technical/product support, design & drafting, and order management. Primary Responsibilities Assist with drafting – quotations, 3D design using Inventor. Assist with drafting – schematic diagrams using AutoCAD. Assist our design department with projects / single line and specification review. Assist our New Product Development process. Assist Eaton’s channel partners with product information, project RFQ’s, order support and day to day electrical inquiries. Supply support to our internal and external customers on all technical inquiries. Perform all job functions with adherence to Eaton’s Values and Philosophy, as well as the Safety and Environmental Standards. Qualifications Basic Qualifications Currently enrolled in an accredited Electrical, Mechanical or Power Systems Engineering or business-related Degree or Diploma Co‐op program or its equivalent. Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada with no company sponsorship now or in the future. This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must reside within 120 kms of the work location. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing electrical power distribution and/or control products. 3D design using Inventor or Revit experience is considered an asset. Previous Electrical or customer service experience is considered an asset. Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Solid problem‑solving skills and time management capabilities. Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel.
